Many of these works were inspired by travels often to places different from my own home environment. These landscapes captured my imagination and invigorated my creative energy. Many of the compositions were taken from photos, however, I worked loosely to capture the feel and energy of these environments.
This work was created throughout 2024 and 2025. Here I use multiple layers, some translucent, to create depth and ethereality. They often take the form of abstracted landscapes that allow the viewer to enter and experience the spacious textural qualities.
