Many of these works were inspired by travels to the southwest canyonlands in 2023 and again in 2025.  These landscapes always capture my imagination and invigorate my creative energy.  In many of these works, I used a pour and push method with the paint to capture movement in the rock formations and to experiment with new painting methods.  Many of the compositions were taken from photos, however, I work loosely to capture the feel and energy of these environments.
