Otherworldly  Each of these mixed media paintings incorporates a collage element. These often unrecognizable textures add a bit of mystery to the composition while at the same time anchoring the landscape. I kept the painting process very loose so as to increase the tension and contrast alongside the synthetic feeling collage elements. I hope that each landscape has the ability to transport the viewer to another world outside of the usual constructs of our day to day.
